About Act I
Act I is all about taking the first leap. Our classes are designed to break through fear and doubt and to foster an atmosphere of trust and courage. Improvisation and games are used to connect students to themselves and to the ensemble.
At the end of the 10 weeks students will perform in a scene with another person from their group. Leading up to the performance, script, character and acting analysis will help prepare each person to feel ready to stand on stage and confidently use their voice, body and persona to deliver a convincing performance.
A scene begs you to be connected, supportive and determined. Are you ready to be bold?
