This workshop covers:
Building singing skills for solo, ensemble and harmony singing
Dance skills - learning some basic dance steps that can be part of any routine
Vocal skills, projection, articulation
How to bring acting skills to a song
Movement skills - telling a story with your body.

Weekly Teen Drama Classes
So you have a burning desire to perform, an irresistible urge to make up tall tales, you can at times be loud, you love to be the centre of attention, you want to get out of the classroom and onto the stage and you think it would be cool to make some great friends while gaining the skills to give an academy award winning performance. Then we dare you to take the risk and join our classes for 12 to 17 yrs olds.
Our classes are designed so you can discover and hone your performing skills.
Throughout the term our classes will include:
Vocal production - learn how to use your voice correctly so you can be heard
Movement - discover how to use your body to tell a story
Acting techniques - Investigate various acting methods to develop characters
Stagecraft - Acquire skills to stand out on stage
Script analysis - explore techniques to understand text
and much more.
We know you want to perform so we’ve designed performance opportunities throughout the course.
